Every four years, our calendars gift us an extra day. Twenty-four added hours, just dropped into our laps! Given that leap day falls on a Thursday this year, many people will spend a portion of their extra day hard at work. Who doesn’t need more time to get their tasks done? But we polled our associates to see how they planned to spend their leap day hours outside of work. See how they want to make the most of their bonus day.

  • Movie marathon: Watch some of the Oscar-nominated movies.

  • Zen zone: Send the kids to daycare and hit the yoga studio.

  • Pamper myself: Have a spa day and then grab a nice dinner out.

  • Find adventure: Get the kids from school, play hooky, and do whatever I feel like.

  • Picture-perfect: Grab my camera and get outside to take photos.

  • Bookworm: Tackle my to-be-read pile and get through a book or two.

  • Class is in session: Take a class to learn a new skill.

  • Be an explorer: Visit a museum or coffee shop I’ve always wanted to check out.
