To meet a global, round-the-clock demand for information, Volvo wanted to make product literature, photos, and press releases available to the media, 24/7.
Two Rivers Marketing proposed an online pressroom that would be organized by product category and linked to the key items mentioned above. We then built the pressroom from the ground up, loading it with functionality and making it easy for editors to use.
The system tracks users and what they download so our PR team can follow up with assistance. We administer the site from our location, but Volvo also has administrative access. The content is continuously updated as products are introduced and enhanced.
Is it working? Editors have given the online pressroom a rousing thumbs-up, some even thanking us for making it easier for them to do their job. “We can get in and get what we need at any time,” said an editor of a construction-focused trade publication. “It’s nice to have easy access to such a vast store of information.”
