The Principal Financial Group looks to Two Rivers Marketing for a variety of services to make e-mail communications a success. The purpose of each campaign differs: We might invite the recipient to take a survey, attend an important event or meeting, consider some investment tips, or read a quarterly newsletter. In most cases, each different message must meet the client’s unique brand standards for colors and imagery. Once the design and message content are approved, our production experts convert the message into a portable template format. Since Principal often needs to provide the message for a client to send on their own, we create attractive templates that any Outlook user can send to their own distribution list.
In certain cases we’ll send the message on their behalf. Before we deploy messages to a list of any size, whether 50 or 50,000, we’ll optimize the message to successfully reach the inbox of intended recipients. We take several steps to ensure deliverability in a climate where aggressive spam filtering can prevent a harmless message from reaching its desired audience. And valuable reporting is available shortly after each send to determine exactly who opened the message, clicked on certain links, or passed the message along to others.
